If you mean that experience is subjective, that's a tautology. If you mean that viewers of art can't respond objectively, that's false. Neither of these reflect the claim, which is that art is subjective. I take "Art is subjective" to mean exactly what it says, and what it says is incorrect.

Your first paragraph contradicts moonvoice's comment. Your second is responded to by moonvoice's comment.
