I can relate to that image all too well. *grin* Very nice!

Bravo on your composition. i love how the girl is placed over the creature's curling body. The only part that draws my gaze away from the image is the part of the creature that is center right that just seems to go straight off without curling back. Although the blue of her dress draws me back in again. I want that dress! What type of creature is that, by the way? The textures are so beautiful. I admire anyone who can work with watercolors. I don't know much about them so they intimidate me.

I love the look of watercolor, and the different reds you use in this are just beautiful. I like how the blues in her dress, hair, and even the book contrast with the warm shades. The way the creature is looking down at her seems almost protective, and gives the whole scene almost a soothing feel that juxtaposes nicely with the scary potential of such a big creature. Awesome!

That's fantastic. I love watercolor as a medium (except that I suck at it.)

This piece is absolutely brilliant. The contrast between the creature and girl is just so apparent and wonderful. The watercolors are beautiful.

You've made me want to paint again!
