Forward (Warehouse Angel #5)

Oil paint and wax medium on canvas, 30 x 40", finished last night.
This is one of a series of pieces based on the cracks in a concrete floor in a big old warehouse in St. Paul, MN. There really are these majestic winged figures all over the place. And the plant forms are from an invasive weed in the euphorbia family. I found it growing by the railroad tracks.

I miss this one. I sold it and shipped it off to Pennsylvania! And now ... off to the studio I go for the evening, to work on the next one.
