Drawings: brown falcon, sun conures, eagle, and cheetah
I completely forgot to crosspost these here!
Pencil and charcoal pencil.

Brown falcon drawn from this photograph. A test to see whether I can do it. I'm reasonably happy with this and I'm intending to attempt in colour using either pastels or watercolour pencils at some point.

Cheetah drawn (charcoal pencil) from this photograph. Not incredibly happy with it--I definitely can see what's wrong with it. Another that I think I'll attempt in colour at some point.

Grumpy eagle (charcoal pencil) drawn from this photograph. While it doesn't match the photo, I'm very happy with the expression on the eagle's face.

Sun Conures, a deliberate attempt at cute and drawing a bit more cartoony. I'm happy with this. Drawn from this photograph.

I particularly like the little conures because I can tell you were relaxed and having fun with them. The linear cartoony style seems to fit their personalities, too.
Because I teach art I have to kind of restrain myself from blathering on, uninvited, so I'll just say I can tell you're really challenging yourself, and I think you're doing well. Look forward to seeing more.
On that note I have to head out for the evening to a figure-drawing session where my attendance tonight is mandatory, since I have to open up the building. :-/ Don't feel like it, but I'm sure I'll have fun once I'm there. I always seem to.

If you wanted to blather on, I'd be interested to hear it. I've had absolutely zero formal education in art (I don't think I really learnt anything in the couple of years I did in high school), so hearing anything might be useful. ;-)
Hope your session tonight goes well.
