Friendship Ponies

I was harangued into posting this!

I'm a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. One day while bored I had the sudden inspiration to make fan ponies for a few friends who are also into the show. I had planned to do about four of them.

I have now drawn twenty-two (as well as a few Homestuck ponies) and I still have more on the waiting list.

I guess it's a good thing that I was never very good at human anatomy to begin with, because whenever I've tried to draw a person over the last couple weeks they have come out rather ponyish...

These are... all sorts of awesome. I watched some of MLP:FiM but couldn't get past the old school MLP that I'm used to. But these definitely rock.

I must have somehow missed MLP when I was a kid! A lot of my friends who're the same age as me remember watching it, but I saw some on youtube and it's not at all familiar. And it's not like I only stuck to boy cartoons, 'cause I watched Strawberry Shortcake and stuff.

For FiM, I actually liked Twilight in the pilot the most. /chuckle

Oh god, Strawberry Shortcake. I watched all sorts of random things when I was little. Carebears and MLP were awesome, though.

I recently downloaded the Care Bears/Alice in Wonderland film and BEST AFTERNOON EVER.

Though I'd always remembered there being a Billy Joel-like song in it but there isn't, so I'm very confused.

I adore Twilight because she totally reminds me of myself as a wee third grader with the baaaaaaaaangs and bookwormyness.
