His Majesty's Nose Itches

40 x 30", oil paint and wax medium on canvas.

Finished last night because show deadline. The wax medium is Dorland's Wax Medium, which comes in a wide-mouth jar and looks something like Crisco. Translucent, thick, a wax/resin mixture that you add as much or as little oil paint to as you want, and then use a brush and/or palette knife. I've done both here.

The horse's name is Dudley and he's a big friendly Clydesdale who lives in the same pasture as my mare.
